Inhabiting Our Earth Body
3-part series
with Donnella Wood

Tuesday, August 1st – Thursday, August 3rd, 9:30 – 12:00 pm
Be Space @ Vibrant Studios, 1532 SW Jefferson Street

“The sun shines not on us but in us. The rivers flow not past, but through us, thrilling, tingling, vibrating every fiber and cell of the substance of our bodies, making them glide and sing.” – John Muir

Our inherent body intelligence is deeply connected to our relationship with the Earth. How we orient to and what we sense, feel, and perceive in our environment informs our movement and our experience of ourselves in the World. In this workshop we will enliven our connection to our Earth Body. We will inquire how perception and orientation, our Earth Body language, can support ease, security, and fluidity in ourselves and with others.

Each day we will explore a new theme and allow time to deepen and integrate our discoveries through the practice of Authentic Movement. A self-directed movement form that invites movement to be generated from the body’s impulses, images, and sensations in the presence of non-judgmental witness. Through moving and witnessing our self and others we seek to become aware of what is present in our body and allow this to be seen and supported.

Space is limited, register in advance. Price valid through July 25.
$40 per session
